Lenovo turns heads at RBTE – Exhibition Stand Design
The Retail Business Technology Expo is the leading retail event in Europe. We showcased tech giant Lenovo’s retailed-focused products in a brightly coloured, dynamic area.
Following a successful activation at the Bett conference, we were asked to build a stand at the Retail Business Tech Expo to showcase Lenovo’s retail focused solutions.
Lenovo is a US$43 billion Fortune 500 company and a leader in providing innovative consumer, commercial, and data centre technology. Its high-quality, secure products and services include PCs, workstations, servers, storage, networking, software, smart TVs and a family of mobile products like smartphones, tablets and apps.
RBTE is an important event for retail organisations around the world. Many companies use the show to demonstrate their latest innovations and make a statement about their direction over the next year. The significance of the event meant it was vital for Lenovo to stand out and make a statement.
We created a bold, vibrant area with dynamic moving content designed to draw people in. The stand shifted in focus throughout the day, from a fashion boutique in the morning to a grocery store/restaurant in the afternoon. It meant we gave people a reason to return to our stand as well as letting us fully focus on both markets instead of trying to present them both at once.
We further enticed people to the stand with interactive elements, including content that would only show when someone stood on a pressure pad and an object recognition table, which would pull up product information when props were placed on it.
